Emory’s Athletics program not only offers world class cross-country program, but also an environment where teamwork is fostered and encouraged both on and off the field. This perfect balance of work and play has allowed Clare to excel academically, compete athletically, and forge lifelong relationships.

“Emory is the perfect balance between academics and athletics. You can work really hard at your sport and work really hard at school. You don’t have to sacrifice one for the other.”

— Clare Ubersax 19C

Emory student athletes excel academically as well as athletically.

Since 2012, the Emory Eagles have claimed 32 UAA titles and six NCAA Division III national championships. In addition to exceptional on-field performance, the Emory Eagles have been recognized during the same period with 27 NCAA postgraduate scholarships and 40 CoSIDA Academic All-American Awards.

In addition to delivering top notch support for its varsity athletes, Emory Campus Life’s athletics program invites all students, faculty, and staff to engage in a holistic approach to well being. Emory provides access to athletic competition, excellent facilities and training, and various forms of physical recreation for all of campus to enjoy. As a result, the Emory community is flourishing with a passion for physical activity and healthy lifestyles. Last year, for example, we saw 18,000 enrollments in fitness, aerobics, dance, swimming, team sports, and other activities.
